Azultec - is a company that studies current solutions for the crypto-mining industry as part of its project to create an effective alternative with high computing power and low power consumption. Cube devices are silent miners that can be installed in living rooms. Miners can also use renewable energy and are designed to reuse more than two thirds of the heat produced.
New devices are made suitable for living rooms.
Manufacturing equipment manufacturing has long dominated such giants as Bitmain, Ebang and Canaan. But from time to time small business offers a less powerful, but very interesting solution. Based in Germany, Azultec is not focused on industrial customers because its devices are designed for the domestic market.
The miners that the company produces are assembled using specially adapted graphics processors (GPU). The all-in-one developers tried to avoid problems that interfere with traditional mining equipment, and offered solutions that make their equipment suitable for a regular living room or server room.
Azultec devices use high-quality water-cooling systems designed specifically for personal computers. They can be installed in homes or in warehouses and connected to photovoltaic systems or fuel cells to reduce energy costs. Miners are also able to redistribute up to 72 percent of the heat generated by equipment.
Cube 300The middle class configuration is equipped with eight Nvidia GTX 1070 graphics cards, 2 TB HDD memory and 4 GB DDR4 RAM. Power consumption is about 1450 watts.
Cube 400Azultec’s high-end consumer miner comes with 8 Nvidia GTX 1080 cards, 2 TB HDD and 4 GB DDR4 RAM. It has a rated power less than 2000 watts.
Components in both plants are cooled with water to ensure operation in optimal conditions. The product page does not indicate which cryptocurrencies are meant for mining, but in general, video cards are more suitable for altcoins, such as ethereum, and not for bitcoins, which requires much more computing power and electrical energy. The first generation of cubes will be released in the first quarter of 2019.
Another Azultec product, Wizard Machine 300, is an industrial entry level solution for cloud computing and mining. The device is designed for 19-inch server racks and can be used in enterprises that need to use excess energy, such as wind towers. The liquid cooled server is designed to improve CGI rendering performance and comes with eight Nvidia GTX 1070 graphics processors and 64 GB of RAM on one motherboard to reduce the number of components used.
New miners will be presented at CES
According to Azultec, its project is supported by three well-known German brands in the field of IT and high technology - Alphacool, Aquatuning and Technikpr. They supported the idea of making getting cryptocurrency as simple and stable as possible.
The company is engaged not only in assembling mining platforms, but also in exploring the possibilities of producing its own video cards and motherboards to optimize the efficiency of its mining cubes. Its engineers are working to create an internal system for converting heat to cooling, which can use the heat generated by equipment for the extraction of “minerals”.
According to the startup plan, the first generation of the Cube series mining units will be launched on the market in the first quarter of 2019. In the same quarter, Azultec also plans to conduct fuel cell experiments as a solution to generate electricity for its products. ,
Azultec will present its devices at CES 2019, the annual electronics show, to be held January 11-18 in Las Vegas. Expansion in the US and Asia is also included in the business plans for next year. The company will also launch its own token and hold an airdrop coin in January to raise funds for its projects.
